Mission

To form global citizens through academic excellence, moral integrity, and an open mindset, fostering the development of individual talents within a supportive emotional environment

Vision

To be a leading educational institution, internationally recognised for pedagogical innovation and the ability to evolve while remaining steadfast to our roots and traditions.

Caring, Global and Authentic

The Values that Define Us

Caring

We prioritise emotional wellbeing and human-centred education. We believe in a personalised approach that places the student at the heart of learning, providing essential support through our School Guidance Team (EOE).

Global

As an IB World School, we prepare our students for an international environment. Bilingualism and international programmes serve as the bridge to a truly global mindset

Authentic

We value our history and traditions. We are a transparent community, where the ‘Moorlands Spirit’ is felt in every classroom, on every sports field, and throughout every alumni gathering

Innovation with Purpose

Innovation at SCMS is not a trend; it is our origin. We were the first school in Argentina to implement the IB Diploma, and today we continue to lead educational transformation through ethical Artificial Intelligence and Project-Based Learning.

Learn to live with others

We nurture a global mindset rooted in respect, empathy, and effective communication. Through our "House System", "Tripod Learning" model, and international exchanges, students learn to collaborate in diverse teams and contribute to a more peaceful and sustainable world

Learning to Think

We promote a "Culture of Thinking" that stimulates intellectual curiosity and critical analysis. By implementing the IB programmes and inquiry-based learning, we teach students how to learn (metacognition), enabling them to transfer knowledge across different contexts and disciplines.

Learning to Do

Beyond acquiring academic knowledge, students develop practical skills and "Habilidades del Siglo XXI" to face real-world challenges. This axis is brought to life through our "Makerspaces", "Design Thinking" workshops, and "Institutional Solidarity Programmes" (PSI), where students apply learning to transform their environment.

Learning to Be

We foster the development of a unique and integral personality, empowering students to act with greater autonomy, judgement, and personal responsibility. Through our "Pastoral Life" and "Wellbeing" programmes, we encourage self-knowledge and the cultivation of values such as integrity and courage

Mensaje de la Directora General

Our school, founded by Mrs. Mabel De Cusatis de Mazzini in 1956 is, at present, the result of a long history grounded in the work done with responsibility, effort, sense of justice, respect for others and in the knowledge of sharing.

I think it is essential that our students here feel at home, to develop their full potential, to practice critical and reflective thinking, to make good use of technology, to care for others and the environment and to build a life project based on values.

I am also convinced that the school and families must work together for our students to become trustworthy people and to be able to play a positive role in society.

I pray God that peace prevails in the world and I hope we have the necessary strength to achieve the goals we set out for this year.

Mabel María Mazzini de Manzitti
Principal.
